Growth Habit :Multi-stemmed shrub or small tree up to 4m tall.
Fruiting Season :Autumn-Winter
Description :Wood boring grub that feeds on plant can be cooked and eaten. Preperation from leaves applied to wounds. Leaves are poisonous to cattle, sheep and goats.
Distribution :All mainland states except S.A., found in better quality open forest or margins of light rainforest and softwood scrub.
Weed Status :Folowing clearing in softwood and brigalow-softwood scrubs, it can come up in great abundance. Cattle can eat the leaves without any apparent ill effects, however heavy losses occur in cattle newly introduced to poison peach.
