Growth Habit :Shrub\ tree 2-6m tall, commonly with round crown and debse foliage, male and female plants.
Fruiting Season :February to September.
Description :Fruit is very bitter and unpalatable. Infusion from bark or fruit used to relieve sore eyes, and malaria,also as an antiseptic wash and fruits held in mouth to relieve toothache. Can be confused with Petalostigma quadriloculare.
Distribution :Northern Australia and northern N.S.W., in open forest and woodlands, in both sandy and poorly drained soils.
