Growth Habit :Small, flat growing, perennial herb, up to 50cm long,stems often red.
Fruiting Season :Flowering period. October to March.
Description :A native legume that persists in grassland unless heavily grazed. The leaves are sensitive, but the response to touch is much slower than the introduced sensitive weed (Mimosa pudica) found in wetter coastal areas.
Distribution :All mainland states except Vic., and S. A. Found in grassy eucalypt communities in coastal and subcoastal areas.
