Growth Habit :Small erect or straggly tree 3-10m tall.
Fruiting Season :May to September.
Description :Infusion from leaves drunk, inhaled or used as a bath to treat coughs, colds, congeston, headache, fever and influenza, source of nectar for bees and birds. Trunk contains slightly salty water which may be tapped.
Distribution :Common local species. Across northern Australia, along streams, in swampy areas and in dense stands in open woodlands.
