Description :Food tree for Koalas and is a major sourse of pollen for bees except central QLD. A very valuable hardwood. The timber is in demand for sleepers, bridge work and fence post.
Distribution :Common local species. Widest distribution of any ironbark. Cape York to Sydney, west to Roma, Alpha, and Torrens Creek.
