Description : | Rare. Body 95mm ; Tail 55mm ; Forearm 56mm ; Weight 35g ; Dark reddish-brown to dark brown. Flies slowly and directly at a height of 3-6m, deviating to catch inscets and other bats. Usually roost in tree hollows. |
Typical Habitat : | Woodland, moist and dry eucalypt forest to rainforest. Under an altitude of 500m(except, where temperatures are milder.) Prefers gullies and rivers draining the Great Dividing Range. |
