Description :Rare. Body 7cm ; Tail 76mm ; Weight 14g ; Fur biscuit-brown above. Nocturnal. Eats seeds, vegetation and insects. Builds mounds[up to 2.5m across and 10cm high] of thumb-nail sized pebbles, surrounding main entrance to it's burrow.
Typical Habitat :Low woodland and grassland on exposed slopes of the Great Dividing Range.
Distribution :From Hidden Valley, west of Paluma, to Gympie.
