Description : | Common. Body 7cm ; Tail 6cm ; Weight 11g ; Colour grey-brown. Nocturnal insect-eater, in captivity eats insects, eggs, meat and honey. Females have a pouch and give birth to a litter between 4 to 12, and build small saucer-shaped nest of grass and bark. |
Typical Habitat : | Rainforest, sclerophyll forest, grasslands, marshlands, and rocky areas. Can be found under sheets of corrugated iron or fallen bark. Exist in outter suburbs of cities. Vulnerable to feral and domestic cats. |
