Description :Length 4m.Dark green with cream to yellow lines and blotches.Non venomous,constrictor.Harmless but ready biter. Nocturnal. Important predator of rats and mice, as a pest control,also eats possums,flying foxes,cats and dogs,and frogs. Common in urban areas
Typical Habitat :Open forest, rainforest and farmland. Mainly arboreal, common in roof spaces and may live in burrows made by other animals. Lays over 40 eggs.
Distribution :Northern and eastern Australia, except Victoria.
