Description :Rare.Length 80cm. Wide head, narrow neck. Grey with light band across neck, borderd behind by black band, in front, a row of black blotches. Belly creamy grey. Dangerous, ready biter, venom unknown. Eats frogs and lizards. Live bearer with up to 11 young.
Typical Habitat :Partly arboreal, nocturnal snake found in rainforest to eucalypt forest.
Distribution :Patchy distribution from the coast to western slopes of the Great Dividing Range. Mareeba to Sydney.
