Description :Length 2m. Slender with whip like tail. Variable colour, Townsville area, black with lemon yellow belly. Eats frogs and birds. Flattens neck when defensive and releases a strong odour. Can be black, olive, green or blue with pale blue flecks on sides.
Typical Habitat :Inoffensive, lacks venom. Lays up to 8 eggs. Rainforest margins, mangroves and open forest.
Distribution :Coastal areas of northern and eastern Australia.
