Description :Body 22cm. Tail can be twice as long. Large frill around head, which it erects when in defence. Colour can be grey, brown to orange or almost black. Runs on it's hind legs and is arboreal and diurnal. Eats insects and small vertebrates.
Typical Habitat :Open forest and woodland.
Distribution :Eastern QLD., Top End of N.T., and Kimberley district of W.A.
