Description : | Uncommon local species. Length 100cm. Female smaller. Nomadic omnivores. In it's courtship display, the male inflates it's throat sac while making a guttural roaring call. Up to two eggs are laid in a ground scrape. |

Distribution : | Uncommon Australia wide, except parts of N.S.W., VIC. and TAS. |
Migration : | Resident / breeding. Main breeding season, October to January, variable. |
