Description :Body 10cm. Olive brown with scattered darker flecks on head, body and tail. Gold stripes down sides of back from eyes to tail, sides are black with pale flecks. Diurnal lizard seen basking on rocks or logs.
Typical Habitat :Open forest, rainforest and urban areas. Usually near water.
Distribution :East coast from Cooktown to Eden N.S.W. and along the Murray-Darling River system.
