The biennial Percival Portrait Painting Prize is North Queensland’s own portrait competition and is held at Perc Tucker Regional Gallery.

Having begun in 2007, The Percivals is an open competition for artists. While showcasing the outstanding and innovative work currently being produced by Australian artists, the competition has also given many emerging artists an opportunity to engage with portraiture and share their expressions of themselves and those close to them. Across the years participating artists have presented varied styles and approaches to the contemporary portrait - from abstracted images and cool conceptualism to smooth realism and the energetic aura of thick, impasto oils executed with broad brush and palette knife.

More information can be found on the Percival Portrait Painting Prize 2016 page.

Love is a dirty word.

Bronte's gothic masterpiece storms the country in a new adaptation from the company behind the critically acclaimed productions of George Orwell's Animal Farm and 1984 .

When Heathcliff, a mysterious boy is rescued from the street and brought to Wuthering Heights, he develops a passionate bond with Cathy Earnshaw and a repulsive distrust of her brother Hindley. As time passes, Heathcliff and Cathy's relationship deepens to the point of dangerous obsession, until one day, Cathy marries another man. Overcome with jealousy, Heathcliff flees the Heights only to return, years later, ready to exact revenge on those he believed ruined his one chance at happiness.

Featuring a breathtaking design and a stellar cast, shake & stir invites you to drop by the Heights and settle in for this classic story, retold.

They're back again! Andy and Terry's Treehouse is now 52 storeys high, with yet more fantastic inventions: a rocket powered carrot launcher, the Disguise-o-matic 500 and even a Ninja Snail Training Academy!

Today is a special day. It's Andy's birthday, but Terry has forgotten! To make matters worse Mr Big Nose has mysteriously disappeared, and to top it all off Jill has fallen into a deep sleep and they just can't wake her up.

So Andy and Terry set off on a crazy adventure tackling a world of startling obstacles including a hungry caterpillar, an angry vegetable kingdom, and a 100 year ninja-snail epic voyage. Will they solve the mysteries and survive the dangers that test even their ingenuity?

Andy Griffiths' and Terry Denton's latest bestseller comes to life on the stage as the team behind the hit adaptations of The 13-Storey Treehouse and The 26-Storey Treehouse return with this crazy, imaginative and engaging play.

So what are you waiting for? Come on up!
