The 2014 Children’s Exhibition centres on the vibrant and engaging sculptures of Melbourne-based artist Troy Emery. The sculptures depict animals as we’ve never seen them before, using impossible combinations of form, colour and materials. Troy Emery: into the wild explores the complex relationship between animals and humans, with humans often viewing animals not only as living things, but also as companions, and as decorative objects through fashion, patterns and taxidermy.
